Foster Family Note
We had Sunny for a little over two weeks. She is great.
Her intelligence surprised me the most. She's quick and eager to learn, and picked things up in a single
session for each skill we taught her â sit, down, stay, wait, look at me, drop it, leave it. She taught herself to touch the doorknob with her nose to signal she wants to go outside. She's incredibly smart and keen. She takes time to settle into new spaces. She's hyper-aware at first â she'll spend a lot of time pacing, looking around and sniffing the same things eight times. But once she does settle in, she just relaxes. She wants to chew, she hangs out, she's calm in the house. She'll watch what you're doing with curiosity, come over for pets, and melt into the floor for cuddles.
She loves to play tug. She waits politely at gates for her turn to get pets. She walks beautifully on the leash â she doesn't pull, and when she hits the end of the leash she comes back on h...
