#A5784998 Nutmeg is a sweet and timid female Belgian Malinois who needs a little time to warm up to new people and feel safe with them. With our volunteers Nutmeg was calm and content to get some pets and quiet time out of her kennel. Good on leash, she would be a great walking buddy to keep you company. We think this is a smart and sensitive girl who would love to bond closely and spend time with her person or family. She may know some commands too, and will quickly learn what she needs to know to fit into the home.
-the shelter environment is intimidating to her, though she walks past the noisy kennels calmly choosing to ignore the other dogs and focus on her handler
-in the shelter assessment she was a bit defensive with other dogs
-shows signs of housebreaking
-about 6 years and 65 pounds
-came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on June 23 as a stray
-spayed female ready to go home!
