She is good with children, very gentle, and very affectionate (and gives face kisses). She rarely barks or howls, and she is not a good guard dog for alerting to people at the door. Mary Beth would do great living in a cold climate!
She is typically high energy and athletic, being both fast and agile. She will play tag/wrestle-mania with her sibling brother Charles who is twice her size, which often becomes very animated. She gets really excited when she sees her leash that signals physical trips outside, either a walk in the neighborhood or a trip to the dog park. She does well at dog parks and is very socialized with other dogs.
