Hi, I’m Margaret Mary. I was rescued from someone’s porch along with my five five-day-old kittens. I came to SBACC, then went to a foster home, but I was so protective of my kittens that I wouldn’t let my foster Mom near them or me. So we all came back to SBACC, and I nursed and raised my kittens in a special back room at the shelter. Once the kittens were eating on their own, they went to a foster home, and I stayed at the shelter to get ready for my forever home. I’m a very friendly girl, and the people who originally found me said I would sit on their laps and eat from their hands. I’m now ready to do that with my forever family. Because I’m not a fan of other cats, I sometimes don’t use the litterbox properly, but in a home of my own, I think I would do fine! One more thing I should tell you. I’m FIV+. It’s not that big a deal. Despite what many people think, cats with FIV can live long, healthy lives. It’s not contagious,...
