Animal Information: Maple and her brother Moose were surrendered to our rescue by a Good Samaritan. While visiting friends on reservation land, she noticed two very emaciated puppies wandering outside. Sadly, a third puppy from the same group had already passed away, likely due to malnutrition. The puppies did not have access to food or water.
Seeing their condition, she made the decision to bring Maple and Moose home and began searching for a rescue in the Seattle area that could take them in. After meeting the puppies, we agreed to help and bring them into our care. Maple and Moose are estimated to be around 5 months old. Their parents are known on the property. Their mother is a Siberian Husky mix and their father is an Australian Shepherd. We will be looking for single family homes with securely fenced yard and a canine companion. We are not considering apartment for her at this time.
