~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption, things could drastically change a month later. Since we don’t have a long health history of your adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam and follow up exams.~ Health: When Maggie was two years old, she was treated for heart worms. When she was four years old, she was hospitalized for pancreatitis from eating a poisonous mushroom but she recovered from that. No other obvious issues were noted during vet exam *****
Temperament: Maggie is very shy at first. She takes just a few days to adjust and enjoy your company. Otherwise, Maggie is very sweet.
She tolerates baths and blow drying very well but she won’t cooperate with nail trims. You may have to take her to the vet to have her nails done every few months. She does well with other dogs, even large dogs. She is not much for playing though. She just wants ...
