Introducing Mama Hope...
A mama who has known breeds far more than love. We pulled Hope during our shelter pull, and from the moment we saw her, we knew she deserved a chance. Her kennel sat right beside the small yards where we were temp testing dogs all day. Through all the chaos, all the barking, all the dogs coming and going…Hope never reacted once. She simply watched, wagged her tail, and pressed herself so hard against the kennel gate trying to get closer to people that her sweet little face scrunched up even more.
And honestly? We are absolute suckers for mama dogs. Especially the ones the world overlooks.
Hope is estimated to only be around 2–3 years old, but her body tells the story of being used over and over again. Sadly, mama dogs like Hope are often passed over because they don’t look “perfect” enough anymore. But to us? Hope is beautiful. She is gentle, loving, and so unbelievably grateful for human kindness.
