Baro is a 25lb red-ticked beagle. He is appox 2 years old. He's very timid when meeting new people. Does not like people looking him in the eyes, but will come up behind you to sniff you out. He is slow learning to trust people along with the loud noises and quick movements of a household. He can climb steps to get on the bed, use the doggie door, is house trained and will finally take treats from our hand. He likes to be walked. He likes to be fed his bowl in his a regular. He is afraid and will not go in a crate. He is the most nocturnal dog we've met. After dinner and into the night, he loves to pull blankets, towels, toys, dog beds, clothes and pillows out the doggie door. He is fine when left alone in the house with the doggie door as long as anything you want to keep in the house is out of his reach (glasses, remotes, shoes, blankets, pillows etc.).
