Animal Profile: Aragorn is an estimated 2-year-old, 11 lb Chihuahua mix. He was rescued from Stanislaus Animal Services, where he was at risk of euthanasia due to lack of space. Aragorn was nervous in the kennel, but was easily handled. He will do so much better outside of a noisy, stressful shelter. He was brought in with several other Chihuahuas (Frodo and Pippin) and is dog friendly.
Foster Update: Aragorn is a timid little cutie that is looking for a mellow home with another playful dog. Aragorn will need a patient and confident adopter who can show him the world is not so scary and provide the security he needs as he gains confidence. Aragorn needs a secure and quiet environment with a fully fenced yard; he does enjoy climbing trees so adopters should be mindful of their landscaping.
