Animal Profile: Liam (now Astro) is an estimated two year old lab/husky mix who will be joining us from California early 2025. This handsome blue eyed guy is good with dogs and kids and is so looking forward to meeting his new family this year!

Foster Update: 

Astro 
is a really sweet dog! He is eager to play and is friendly with dogs and people. He knows basic commands like sit and down, and is working on his leash manners. He does pull on leash, especially when he sees a critter, but he will settle and patiently sit right at your side while you chat with friends.



He is food motivated which will help with his ongoing training as he is still learning some house manners such as not jumping up. Astro will bark for a few minutes when left alone in his crate but settles down quickly and is not overly vocal otherwise.
