Meet Winston!
Winston is a 2.5-year-old, 45-pound American Foxhound who has been patiently waiting six months for a family to call his own. We can't quite understand why he's still waiting, because Winston is truly a very good boy!
Winston is an incredibly social dog who loves making friends. When he's out in public, he makes sure every dog nearby knows he's ready to say hello! He currently lives in a foster home with several other dogs of all ages and sizes and enjoys having canine companions to play with in a large fenced yard.
Winston has done wonderfully with children at adoption events and enjoys meeting new people. However, cats are not his thing, so he is looking for a feline-free home.
As a former hunting dog, Winston would do best with a family that understands hounds and is willing to continue helping him succeed. He thrives with routine and currently needs to be crated when left home alone. The good new...
