Savannah is a female Pit Bull Terrier mix rescued in Georgia. Our veterinary partner estimates that Savannah was born in 2016. We received the plea for help when she had been spayed at the shelter, and had somehow managed to break her spay stitches. This allowed her intestines to come through the incision site, and she was in critical condition and needed emergency surgery to repair the site. Savannah has been all fixed up and she is now doing well. Savannah is a sweet pup who is great with people of all ages. She must be the only dog in the home, and if there is another dog in the home (which we don't recommend), Savannah cannot be crated. Otherwise, Savannah does great in a crate! She currently sleeps all night in her crate and will rocket into the crate from anywhere in her foster home in response to the "Crate Up" command!
