Santa came into the world unwanted. When he stumbled onto our property last Christmas, he was barely hanging on — skin and bones, severely emaciated and dehydrated, covered in fleas. Around his neck was a thick, filthy rope pulled so tight it had cut into him, leaving scarring that has taken months to heal.
