Riley is looking for his person — preferably someone with strong “Ron Swanson seasons 1–3” energy. Basically: an experienced, grounded person who understands that Riley doesn’t need a loud, busy household — he needs someone dependable who lets him feel safe at his own pace.
This handsome boy loves his walks, melts for hugs, enjoys being brushed, and is happiest just hanging with his human. He’s great off leash and forms deep bonds with the people he trusts.
Riley came from a heartbreaking situation after being left tied outside, neglected, and severely underweight as a puppy. Because of that, and because he is deaf and sight impaired, he can get fearful and needs an experienced, patient adopter who understands that healing takes time.
He needs a calm, adult-only home with no dogs, cats, or kids — just a steady person who respects his space, earns his trust, and lets him feel safe for good.
