`Pearl has shown great improvements since she started foster care. After being crate trained and following a consistent daily routine, she has adjusted well. Since the last update, we decided to try new things to help get her anxiety under control when inside the house. I decided to have her sleep in her crate overnight to reduce accidents, which has been very helpful. It also allowed her to be calmer when she wakes up in the morning; she used to bark and howl at 7:00 a.m. every day. My roommate and I have been taking her on potty walks to get her more comfortable with different people. At first, she was anxious and had trouble going potty with my roommate, but after three days, she opened up. She is now doing great on her walks and h...
