Mrs. Alfie Meeps, or "MAM" as she is affectionately called, is our senior gal with quite a tale to tell! Originally adopted in Illinois, Mam moved to Florida many, many years ago. When her owner could no care for her, she was entrusted to a friend. Unfortunately, that friend passed away and Mam's last known whereabouts were with the friend's husband in Palm Harbor. However, this sweet dainty gal was found in Ybor!! How she got there remains a mystery that only the Mrs. Meeps herself knows!
Yes, she really is 14-years-old (though we call her 14-years-young)! We were able to track down the original organization she was adopted from in 2012. Despite her age, Mrs. Meeps is thriving and has a zest for life... and carbs! She loves to snuggle up close to you and her favorite past time is loafing on your lap. She bows her head for kisses and loves soaking up your attention.
