**WAIVED ADOPTION FEE! Five years ago, we told Jessa her forever was coming. She got so excited for her meet and greet, and waited patiently for the family that never showed. Then we told her again, this time it’s happening, but they decided it wasn’t the right time for a dog. And so she waited again.
Somehow days turned into months. Months into years. Now, this September will mark five years since Jessa stepped off a transport truck from North Carolina, where she was just days away from being euthanized. We saved her life that day. She’s been loved with no pause by her foster dad Chris ever since, but it’s not the same as being ‘home’.
Jessa is almost seven now. A beautiful pit bull mix, sometimes a baby seal, and sometimes a potato. At home, she’s a dream and is truly just a really happy girl. She is house-trained, never destructive, and just likes to hang out waiting for foster dad to come home from work. She loves snugglin...
