ELSA'S STORY
Elsa is a beautiful adult female Cocker Spaniel. Presumed to be a hit-by-car dog, she was rescued from the LA County Carson Shelter on 1/11/24, and taken directly to the VCA in anticipation of orthopedic surgery.
Elsa was picked up by animal control with duct tape wrapped around a fractured leg. :( The shelter sent her to an outside vet for x-rays and removal of the duct-taped bandages, which were replaced with a soft cast while she awaited further treatment.
