Meet Canela â Your New Best Friend!
Hi there! My name is Canela, and I'm a lovable French Mastiff with a big heart and an even bigger love for cuddles (even though I'm a big girl at ~120 lbs!). I was rescued from DAS in January 2020, and my current family believes Iâm about 7â8 years oldâbut donât let that fool you. Iâm young at heart and still full of life!
I adore being around people and thrive on companionship. Whether itâs going for a walk, lounging around the house, or joining on car rides (my favorite!), Iâm just happiest when Iâm with my family. I'm not a fan of hot summer days, thoughâgive me a cool floor and a fan, and I'm golden.
Iâm potty trained and am trusted with free roam of the house. I know a few basic commandsâokay, mostly just âsit,â but I do it well! Iâm spayed, so no puppies in my future, and I get along great with kids, seniors, other dogs, and even cats. Iâm just that friendly.
