Maize is a beautiful kitty who was rescued from a neighborhood overwhelmed with stray and feral cats. Despite the challenges, Maize was successfully trapped and brought to a vet immediately for testing, vaccines, spaying, and microchipping. She was severely matted and underweight, likely having to fight and scrounge for food.
Current Situation: Maize has been in a foster home for the past five months, where she has flourished. Her fur has grown back beautifully, showcasing her long tabby coloring. Although she remains timid, she is far from "wild." Maize prefers not to be picked up, but she is quite easy to care for.
