Loki's Story: Since moving into my current home in South San Jose in 2024, Loki has been living outside in the neighborhood. He started hanging around my house because he was curious about my cat Oliver who I take outside on a leash. Over time, I learned he was extremely friendly, enjoyed pets, human company, and treats. Loki gets along with most of the neighborhood cats, and he loves just hanging out with me when I am gardening or working on projects in the garage.
Eventually, he started living in my garage/backyard/deck, and after getting him some basic care, the vet confirmed he’s not a feral cat but was abandoned. He has no microchip, and no one has claimed him over the months I’ve cared for him. Even though I would love to bring him inside, I also have a dog who does not get along with Loki at all.
