MEET WISE GUY — HE’S DONE SITTING ON THE SIDELINES

Wise Guy was an owner surrender, and when he was dropped off with us, we received a letter, both sides filled with all the things that they didn’t like about this dog. It made us feel so sad for him because we know he must’ve felt it. We were prepared for some issues, instead he’s turned out to be a fantastic dog.

He used to have a different name, but after reading that letter, this time around, we’re calling him WISE GUY. And this handsome, slightly chubby (40lbs) 23 month old gentleman is ready to start over with someone who understands that a dog isn’t something you simply have in the house — he’s supposed to be part of the family.

We think Wise Guy spent too much of his previous life being left out or left behind. And when you meet him, that may be the hardest part of his story to understand, because this boy is an absolutely wonderful companion. ...
