Winnie

Meet Winnie, a sweet 10-year-old Shepherd/Pyrenees mix weighing about 70 pounds. This gentle senior girl loves her people and her dog friends and is happiest when she has a cozy place to lounge and a yard to explore.

Winnie is house-trained, well behaved, and wonderfully independent. She enjoys greeting visitors, making friends with whoever is cooking dinner, and spending time with her canine companions. She is also great with kids and has a calm, curious nature.

With her livestock guardian background, Winnie would love a home with a yard where she can leisurely explore and enjoy her golden years. A fenced yard is preferred, but Winnie does not require one. Without a fence, she will need twice daily walks along with frequent daily potty breaks.

Winnie has arthritis in her back and takes daily medication to help keep her comfortable. She isn't a fan of taking her meds, but her foster has discovered that hiding them in something yummy does the trick!
