Whitney is a sweet, sensitive girl who is looking for a patient family willing to give her the time she needs to feel safe. Estimated to be around 3 years old, Whitney has experienced a lot of change in her life and can be cautious when meeting new people or encountering unfamiliar situations.

When she first arrived at the shelter, Whitney was understandably fearful and unsure of her surroundings. With time, consistency, and gentle handling, she has made wonderful progress and now greets familiar people with a wagging tail and eagerness to come out and spend time with them.

Whitney is a soft-hearted dog who enjoys treats, affection, and being close to people she trusts. When feeling unsure, she often seeks comfort from her handlers and leans into them for reassurance. Sudden noises and fast movements can still startle her, so she would thrive in a calm home where she can continue building confidence at her own pace.
