VALE NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!

Name: Vale Best Guess for Breed: Shepherd and retriever mix

Best Guess for Age: 2 years as of July 2026 SEX: Female

Approximate Weight: 35 lbs

Gets Along With: Other dogs! Vale should go to a home without cats. We haven't seen her with kids, but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!

Currently Living at: DC area foster home

Special adoption considerations: Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. Because Vale is shy, she also needs a welcoming resident dog who will help show her the ropes!
