TUNDRA

Tundra didn't get the best start to life, which is very sad for an Akita,
since connection to family is so important for the them. She was underweight
and in some pain, but has responded to better diet and care. She is looking good now!

True to the breed standard, Tundra is dignified, independent and aloof to strangers,
but has a silly playful side once she gets to know you, especially when a
krinkly or squeaky stuffy is involved. She is a phenomenal leash walker
(no pulling or weaving) and does well on trail, even when off leash
dogs approach her on a hike. That said, while neutral, she does
not enjoy the companionship of other dogs.
