About Torta
*deaf dog*
Prepare to fall head over heels for Torta, a resilient and incredibly affectionate girl seeking her forever home! Despite a rough start before joining RSR, Torta's spirit is pure gold and her love for people knows no bounds.
Torta is deaf, communicating beautifully through eye contact, facial expressions, and hand gestures. She thrives on connection and will follow you everywhere, eager for your touch and affection. Her favorite pastime is curling up right next to her person on the couch for a nap or a TV marathon – expect some incredibly loud, but endearing, snores! This girl is a master cuddler and wants to sleep always touching her favorite human.
Mealtime is Torta's absolute favorite (followed closely by walks!). Her enthusiastic appetite makes her easy to motivate. You’ll be surprised by how mobile and agile she is, despite being quite overweight – a testament to her joyful spirit!
