Forever Home Wanted: Meet Thaddeus!

Thaddeus is a 4–6-year-old Labrador Retriever mix who recently got his second chance at life after surviving on the streets for far too long. When he first arrived at the shelter, he was filthy and severely emaciated, with a body condition score of just 2.5/9. His ribs, spine, and pelvic bones were painfully visible. Yet despite everything he had endured, Thaddeus still earned the best possible behavior score during his exam, which tells you everything you need to know about the heart this boy has.

Now safe in a foster home, Thaddeus — lovingly nicknamed “Theo” — has filled out nicely and is learning what it means to be part of a family. His canine foster siblings have been helping show him the ropes, and he’s doing great settling into home life and daily routines. He truly tries to do the right thing and is developing a fairly consistent recall.
