Tasha is a 3-year-old, 5-pound Chihuahua who came to the Stanislaus shelter as part of an animal welfare case, where she and 18 other dogs were lovingly cared for by shelter staff while the District Attorney's office worked through the legal process. Once the dogs were finally released and available for rescue, we knew we had to help.
Tasha, along with Freckles, Littles, and Cooper, all came from the same home. Although she's a little shy at first, Tasha has been incredibly sweet with the shelter staff and just needs a little time to feel safe and let her personality shine.
We can't wait to welcome Tasha to the Pacific Northwest and show her what the good life is all about
