Meet Stevie! He may be a tiny 8-pound poodle mix, but he has a big personality and plenty of spunk! His limited vision doesn’t stop him from enjoying life. He loves being outside, exploring the yard, going for walks, and taking in all the interesting smells around him.

Because Stevie is partially blind, he needs a little extra consideration when meeting people and moving through his surroundings. He can be startled if someone approaches him without warning, so simply talking to him as you come near lets him know you’re there and helps him feel safe. Slow introductions and a predictable routine are important as he gets to know his new surroundings and his people.

Stevie is also quite the conversationalist! If the house gets too quiet for too long, you may hear him talking to you because he wants to know where his people are. He loves being near his humans and is happiest when he knows they’re close by. When you’re busy, though, Stevie is perfect...
