My name is Stacie. I need a mom that has it going on! Will you be that mom (or Dad?)

It happened on a winter night in late December, not in ’63, but in 2025. I was in a shelter in Maryland and SSRR wanted to save me. No other rescue saw me as a diamond in the rough. Why am I that diamond in the rough you ask? Well, let me tell you …I am deaf. There, my secret is out. I wasn’t necessarily born deaf. The Vet thinks I had a little touch of distemper when I was a puppy and that may have caused me to lose my hearing. However, my deafness doesn’t hamper me in the least bit! I hope you do not see that as a disability, because I don’t. On with the story….
