Sprout is a 2-year-old terrier mix weighing 25 pounds who is looking for a patient and understanding home where he can slowly build confidence. Sprout is still learning that people and new experiences can be safe. A calm home and a patient approach will help Sprout feel more comfortable as he continues his journey.

Sprout would do best with an adopter who has experience helping shy or under-socialized dogs and understands the importance of giving a dog time, space, and encouragement as they adjust. With kindness, consistency, and a little time, Sprout has the opportunity to blossom into a wonderful companion.
