Spot is a sweet, loving boy who forms strong bonds with his people. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, so slow introductions during his first few days help him feel comfortable. Once he knows you, he’ll greet you with a wagging tail, a happy smile, and plenty of affection.
Spot is housebroken, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. He loves to snuggle, especially if it means sleeping under the covers next to his favorite person. He also enjoys chasing balls and playing with squeaky toys. He did great with a 13-year-old child, however we are recommending no small children. Spot has a gentle, affectionate personality.
Because Spot loves his food a lot, he will need to be fed separately from other pets. He would do best in a home as the only dog. He currently eats Hill’s Science Diet Small Breed dry food along with Hill’s Science Diet wet food, either the loaf or entrée varieties.
