Sophie (gentle and sweet dilute calico)

Sophie is a super gentle lady born in August 2019 who was surrendered to LCCR because of her owner's declining health. Sophie wasn't exactly sure why she ended up in her foster home, keeping a watchful eye on her foster parents from the closet for a week before she decided maybe her new digs weren't too bad. She enjoys spending her time sleeping in the sun on the windowsill cat bed, lounging on the human bed (she likes the pillows), or in the cute cardboard Aldi cat house that was donated to the rescue. Sophie lights up when she sees the resident dog (a beagle) and will head butt him and trill. She also gets excited when her foster parents enter the room, purring and rubbing against legs and hands. She enjoys feather wand toys, hair ties, and plastic springs!
