"A kind mail carrier reached out for help after she noticed one of the stray dogs on her route was injured. We don’t always know their back stories but between the mail carrier and the neighbor we pieced her heartbreaking story together. She was abandoned about 6 months ago after her owners were evicted due to animal cruelty. SPCA confiscated all the animals on the property except one. Unfortunately, they were unable to catch her. They tried traps and tried darting her with a tranquilizer but they lost track of her before she went down.
