Now, after an unexpected journey that brought her all the way from California to Central Arizona Animal Rescue, she’s ready to find the loving home she truly deserves.

Shirley’s story begins in California, where she ended up in the pound along with her entire family — her two sisters, her brother, and even her mom and dad. It’s rare to see a whole canine family come through together, and it speaks to how closely bonded they were. Thankfully, caring people stepped in to help, arranging safe transport for Shirley so she could start fresh in Arizona. She’s now safe, healthy, and waiting patiently for someone special to discover her.
