Meet Shadow!

Shadow is an 11.5-years-young Chihuahua mix with plenty of personality packed into his little senior body.

When Shadow first came to us, he was dealing with significant allergies and a painful skin infection. Since then, he has been healing beautifully, growing his fur back, and most importantly, feeling so much better. As he’s gotten more comfortable, we’ve had the chance to watch his true personality start to shine.

Shadow has discovered that toys are pretty fun, enjoys cruising around the yard with the occasional round of “old man zoomies,” and loves nothing more than finding a sunny spot to simply relax. While he enjoys being near his people, Shadow is more of a behind-the-scenes kind of guy—perfectly content watching the action rather than being right in the middle of it. He’s the perfect combination of a lazy-Sunday couch potato and a playful little companion.
