Rusty

Animal Profile: Rusty is a 1.8 year Aussie/Cattle dog mix dogs who joined us via our TX partner Saving Shelter Strays. She was found walking down the street in an area with no houses close by and no one came to the shelter to claim her.

Foster Update: Rusty is a bright, beautiful, and loving puppy. She is so smart and curious. The outdoors is her favorite place, even when she's tired, she just wants to take a nap out in the yard (unless it's raining, then she's perfectly happy to be indoors). She is pretty shy and is working on her confidence outside of her foster home/yard, but she's made great strides, especially when she realized there are stores specifically for dogs that will give her treats when she goes in! She also loves other dogs and playing with her foster brothers. She's very smart and can get bored easily, but she learns very quickly, and she takes cues from her foster brothers to figure out what she should be doing. We are looking for a hom...
