Rumi

Animal Information: Rumi is a 1-year-old, 63-pound Cur/Shepherd mix with a heart of gold. After being attacked by another dog at the shelter, he spent the night with our rescue partner while he waited for vet care the next day. Even after everything he went through, Rumi remained sweet and friendly with people and tested excellently with other dogs.

With his soulful eyes, soft ears, and gentle nature, Rumi seemed to breathe a sigh of relief during his sleepover. We knew we couldn’t leave him behind, so he got a one-way ticket to Seattle to start a new chapter. We can’t wait to see where his story goes from here.

Foster Profile: Rumi has had a rough 1st year of his life but you would never know it from his extremely sweet and loving disposition. Rumi would make a great family dog with kids as well as will another dog in the home, but another dog is not required.
