Ruben Humphrey is an almost 7-year-old Poodle/Terrier mix weighing just 14 pounds. With his soft white coat, curly tail, and joyful personality, this little guy is ready to find the person he's been waiting for.
Ruben is incredibly affectionate once he trusts you. He lights up when he sees his favorite people, loves to cuddle, and happily follows his person from room to room. He's a smart, curious dog who enjoys puzzle toys, sniffing adventures, and daily walks. His happy little zig-zag trot makes every outing an adventure!
Since joining his foster family after arriving as a stray, Ruben has become a totally different dog. He started out as fearful and reactive and now he's a happy and curious dog. He successfully completed a professional training program and has worked hard on building confidence, learning good manners, and overcoming resource guarding. He thrives with consistent routines, clear boundaries, and positive reinforcement.
