RICO

Hello! I was surrendered to the shelter when my owner could no longer care for me. I'm a large, handsome guy and I'm hoping for a second chance at a nice life.
Insights from my foster friends or adventure buddies:
`Rico went on a Dog Day Out. He was very nervous at first, he was shaking when we (my 9 year-old and me) got him in the lobby. Very skittish when we walked him next to the parking lot. However he relaxed in the car pretty quickly and enjoyed a pup cup from Starbucks. When we got home he was very hesitant to get out of the car and go inside but eventually he did. We relaxed in the house with him for a while and let him get comfortable, which he increasingly did. He even got overstimulated and tried some humping, but neutering will likely help with that over time. He's a sweet dog, just needs a little time to get comfortable with his surroundings.`
