Rhino was born outside and came to us through our Community Cats program. Because of this, he had very little human interaction in his early life. To help them acclimate to their new home we have some recommendations:
WHAT TO EXPECT *Hiding: while they are acclimating to their new home, we highly recommend confinement to a cage for a short period of time. This way they can learn about their new surroundings but still feel secure in the crate. This will also eliminate the worry of âlosing themâ in your home â kittens will find anywhere to hide! Don't have a crate? No worries...We can lend you one until you no longer need it. *Transition: moving to a new environment can be scary, and potential backslide in behavior is to be expected.
