Story/background: Phoenix is part of a litter of 4 pups rescued from my neighborhood. The owner left them to roam the road instead of keeping them contained. Often searching for food in trash cans and dodging traffic. I discovered they were also not in good health when we saw the whole litter on the road. Phoenix was the worst of them , she had more mange than hair. She's looking better every day and she's the sweetest girl looking for love and attention.
