About Penny Lane
Meet Penny: Professional Cuddler, Side-Eye Specialist & Wheelchair Queen
Penny is a 4-year-old Dachshund mix with a big personality packed into one adorable little body. Penny has IVDD and is paralyzed in her back legs, but please don’t tell her she’s supposed to let that slow her down - she certainly didn’t get the memo.
Penny maneuvers around the house incredibly well on her own and has a wheelchair that she LOVES for walks and adventures. She also rides beautifully in the car, making her the perfect little copilot for someone who wants a sidekick to tag along.
When Penny first meets someone, she can be a little nervous and needs a moment to decide whether you’re worthy of joining her inner circle. Fortunately, the application process is pretty quick. Once she warms up, Penny is an affectionate little Stage 5 Clinger who wants nothing more than to be close to her people. Couch? She’s there. Bed? Obviously. Going to another...
