Penelope is a sweet, easygoing girl who's still coming into her own after coming in as a stray. She's a little skittish and building her confidence, so she'll do best with a patient adopter who gives her time and space. She's low-energy and gentle, and while she's still learning her litter habits, we think she'll do great with good litter care—keeping hay fresh, using a larger litter box, and maintaining a steady supply of hay as usual.

She's a bit sensitive and gets spooked by loud noises, sudden movements, and dogs, so a calm, quiet home is a must — we wouldn't recommend her for a household with loud young children. On the bright side, she's proven herself great with cats, having done well with feline foster siblings.
