Obie

Meet Obie! Obie is an adorable 8-month-old Australian Shepherd mix who currently weighs about 30 pounds and is expected to be around 40–45 pounds when fully grown.

Obie may look like he has a very serious face, but underneath that thoughtful expression is a very sweet boy who is learning that people are good—and that people come bearing treats! He is a little shy and is still building his confidence, but every day he is discovering that he can trust his people and that regular meals, gentle pets, and lots of love are pretty wonderful things.

Once Obie trusts you, his sweet personality really shines. He loves getting attention and will happily give you kisses to show you how much he appreciates you.

Obie absolutely loves other dogs and enjoys having canine friends around. He is playful and thinks toys and bones are great fun. A confident, friendly dog in his forever home could be a wonderful companion to help him continue coming out of his shell...
