happy young sato seeking fresh start and love!

NERO NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!

Name: Nero Best Guess for Breed: Shepherd mix

Best Guess for Age: 1 year as of July 2026 SEX: Male

Approximate Weight: 44 lbs

Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!

Currently Living at: Puerto Rico shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here!

Special adoption considerations: Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think this pup would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure they can go on walk...
