When I first arrived at the adoption center, I’ll admit I was feeling a little overwhelmed. New place, new smells, lots of unfamiliar faces — it was a lot for a lady like me. I spent some time quietly observing from the back of my kennel, accepting gentle head scratches while I figured out if these humans were worthy of my trust.
Good news: some of them passed the test.
Now that I’ve settled in, my true personality has started to shine. I’m confident, curious, and a bit of what the humans call a “bossy lady.” I get along with the other cats just fine, but let’s be clear — I have zero tolerance for nonsense.
