Mychal is a 3-month-old grey tabby female with an amazing story . She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, treated for fleas and parasites, and FeLV/FIV negative—ready to start her next chapter.
Mychal first came to Piedmont Animal Rescue this fall in a trap at a spay-neuter/TNR clinic. We believed she was a feral kitten from a colony in Statesville. During her exam, the veterinarian discovered a concerning lump near her abdomen—possibly a hernia. Thankfully, a volunteer chose not to release her back outside right away but to wait.
That decision changed everything!
And then she purred! She wasn’t feral at all—she was sweet! A follow-up veterinary visit weeks later revealed even more good news: the hernia had repaired itself! Mychal was healthy… and absolutely lovely!
She may not be flashy or exotic—just a little...
