MJ is approximately 5 1/2 years old, spayed and weighs around 38 pounds. She is a mixed breed, possible cattle dog/lab mix. She has lived with a family of two younger kids (now aged 6 and 9) since she was nine months old. She is very sweet and playful. She likes to snuggle and does well on car rides. She loves to go for walks, hikes, and play fetch, and will often go on longer runs. She is house trained and likes to sleep in her crate at night. She is able to be on her own for several hours as her current owners work outside the home, and she does not seem to have separation anxiety. She has completed basic obedience training. Mary Jane is a nervous dog when it comes to loud noises (fireworks, thunder) and she takes time to warm up to new people and new dogs. She has gone to other homes for dog sitting, with other dogs present, and has done just fine after taking a few minutes to get comfortable.
